Pontio launches with everyday home and personal services, starting with categories such as electricians, plumbers, home cleaning, babysitting, dog walking, and similar local needs.

Professionals set their own prices and show them on their services. Some services have a fixed price you see upfront; for jobs that need assessing first, you describe the job, the professional sends you an offer, and you approve the exact total before the booking exists. Any later price change needs your agreement.

Joining and using Pontio is free, and there is no Pontio fee in the first phase — you pay the professional directly, and professionals keep what they charge. Later, Pontio may introduce a platform fee for completed bookings, per category; any fee will always be shown clearly before you confirm a booking.

A review can only be left after a completed booking through Pontio — no anonymous or paid reviews. That means ratings build up from real appointments after launch, and professionals can reply publicly to the reviews they receive.

Pontio is the platform that connects you: we review profiles before they go live and keep booking and communication in one place. The service contract is directly between you and the professional, who is responsible for the work itself. If something goes wrong, you can report it to the Pontio team from the app.
